Laminar Cooling Roller

Laminar cooling rollers are installed between the finishing mill and coiler in hot strip lines and are mainly used for strip cooling. Repair requires fatigue-layer removal, cladding performance and finishing accuracy to be considered together.

Manufacturing and Repair Path
Step 1
Remove the roller surface fatigue layer by turning
Step 2
Check diameter and hardness and perform penetrant testing
Step 3
Apply high-power laser cladding after preheating
Step 4
Reserve machining allowance, then grind to drawing dimensions and surface roughness
Step 5
Complete final inspection before delivery
